Volunteer Opportunity - Lanterns for Life

CCP is seeking 75–100 enthusiastic volunteers to help execute the Lanterns for Life Fair on 20 September 2025 from 1700 to 2000 at Camp Foster’s Gunners Fitness Center Baseball Field 1; volunteers will receive LOAs and light refreshments during the event.

The Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS), Behavioral Health (BH) Community Counseling Program (CCP) Lanterns for Life Fair is designed to provide morale and recreational activities for Service Members and their families stationed throughout Okinawa; enhance public relations with the surrounding civilian community; raise awareness of Suicide Prevention; and recognize Suicide Awareness Month.  This event is open to all Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) personnel and those with base access.  Approximately 400-500 participants are expected during this event.
