Okinawa is filled with beachside campsites. If you are looking for some outdoor adventure and fun, MCCS Outdoor Recreation can hook you up with all your outdoor needs from tents and sleeping bags to cooking kits and ten-gallon water coolers.

Reservation and Rental Procedures

Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance. Reservations must be in person and full payment is due at the time of reservation.

A full refund will be issued for reservations cancelled at least three days in advance. A 50% refund will be issued for reservations cancelled one or two days in advance.  There are no refunds for equipment that is picked up late or cancelled on the day of rental.
 
Equipment will be inspected upon return. Equipment that is wet will not be accepted.  Equipment that is dirty will incur a cleaning fee charged to the customer.  There are no refunds for early returns.
 
Equipment must be returned one hour prior to closing.  Equipment returned past the deadline will be subject to a daily late fee. For each day late, the customer will be charged the daily rate for the equipment rented.
 
Customers are responsible for the replacement cost of lost, stolen, or damaged equipment. Stolen items must be reported to PMO immediately.

Rules and Regulations

Equipment must be returned in a clean and serviceable condition.

Rented items must be returned to the pickup location.  Items cannot be returned to a different outdoor recreation facility located on another installation.

Canopies must be disassembled and stored at wind speeds of 10 meters per second (22.4 miles per hours or 19.5 knots) or higher.

Canopies with the MCCS logo shall not be set up in front of any local business or used to advertise non-MCCS events.

Delivery is available to McT and Courtney Monday - Friday. All deliveries to on-base tower housing will be limited to the Multipurpose Rooms. Delivery schedules will vary pending on delivery demand. Delivery requests must be submitted with advance notice.
