Mission Statement

The Single Marine Program (SMP) strengthens readiness and resilience by advocating for Marines and providing programs that promote, develop, and sustain their overall well-being.

The SMP contributes to the improvement of total force readiness, job performance, and retention by supporting the enhancement of Quality Of Life (QOL) for all single or unaccompanied Marines and Sailors.  

The SMP identifies issues and/or concerns that directly/indirectly affect Marines':

Authorized patrons of ALL abilities are welcomed. Please contact SMP staff if reasonable accommodations are necessary.

A time for like-minded, leadership-oriented Marines and Sailors to discuss issues affecting their unit’s QOL, brainstorm solutions, and strategize the outreach and facilitation of engaging events hosted by SMP. These meetings are conducted by the SMP Executive Members and are vital as they offer active duty members the chance to collaborate with both each other and SMP staff to directly address the needs and initiatives of Marines and Sailors.


SMP Council Meetings *

Kinser SMP

  • Meets on the first Wednesday of the month, 1500-1600

Futenma SMP

  • Meets on the last Tuesday of the month, 1200-1300

Foster SMP

  • Meets every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, 1530-1630

Courtney SMP

  • Meets every other Wednesday, 1500-1600

Hansen SMP

  • Meets every other Wednesday, 1300-1400

Schwab SMP

  • Meets every second and last Wednesday, 1500-1600
