This April, MCCS will recognize the talent of the Military Children of our community with an art and poetry contest! The theme for 2026 is "What I love about being a military child" and submissions will be accepted January 1 - February 15 at MCCS Libraries on Camps Kinser, Foster and Courtney. 
 
Artwork will be displayed at the library where it was submitted, and contest winners' submissions will be published in the April issue of Okinawa Living Magazine!
 
Art must be 2D and the artist's own work. Poetry must not be longer than 150 words in total. No AI submissions will be allowed. 
 
Age categories: 5-8, 9-12 & 13+
