Due to the ongoing U.S. government shutdown, VA support in Okinawa is currently paused, and all related services are temporarily unavailable or operating asynchronously. As a result, the MCCS Transition Readiness Program Office was mistakenly listed as a primary point of contact for VA-related matters.  We apologize for any confusion this may have caused, as the referrals provided are outside of our control.

Please be advised, while the MCCS Okinawa Transition Readiness Program Office cannot assist with VA-specific questions or issues, we stand committed to assisting Service Members with the Transition Process.  Please know that we are actively working to obtain updates and stay informed and will notify you as soon as the situation changes.  We understand the inconvenience this may cause and recommend that affected individuals explore alternative resources during the shutdown period.

For VA-related inquiries, we encourage you to reach out directly to the VA via the following link:
https://www.va.gov/contact-us/ask-va/introduction.

We understand the importance of these services and appreciate your patience as we navigate this temporary disruption. We will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available and once the VA is operational again.

Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time.

For more information about the Transition Readiness Program, visit us on the MCCS Okinawa Career Services webpage at https://www.mccsokinawa.com/trp/.
