Sumo Showdown 2026

Join us for an evening of buffet style event and an amateur sumo showdown! A professional Sumo wrestler will be in attendance! This sumo-suit wrestling competition will be held May 27 starting at 6 p.m. at the Surfside , Camp Kinser. Sixteen competitors will gird themselves in inflatable sumo suits and battle to be the crowned the champion. Prizes will awarded to the 1st place winners. All competitors must be DoD ID card holders 18 or older. All patrons will be treated to a specially prepared buffet style menu and have the opportunity to meet and interact with a professional sumo wrestler.

Introducing the Sumo Showdown!
This sumo-suit battle royale will be held May 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Kinser Surfside. Sixteen competitors will gird themselves in sumo suits and battle to be the crowned the champion.
