Get ready for an unforgettable journey just 800 meters off the coast of Yomitan. Our Whale Shark Snorkeling Tour offers a rare opportunity to observe the ocean's largest fish—the magnificent whale shark.
Imagine yourself in the water, looking down at these gentle giants, often over 4 meters in length, or swimming alongside them as they move gracefully through the sea. This 30–40 minute snorkeling experience is more than just a tour; it is a remarkable encounter that will leave you in awe. After your swim, relax and refuel with a delicious meal at a nearby fresh fish market.
How to Observe the Whale Sharks
You will observe the whale sharks from outside the enclosure, not inside. Snorkeling takes place at the ocean surface above the net. Because the whale sharks are kept in a controlled environment, sightings are 100% guaranteed.

| Minimum Participation | MCCS Tours+ reserves the right to cancel the tour if minimum participation requirements are not met. |
| Age Restriction | Participants must be 59 years old or younger due to safety and insurance requirements. |
| Weight Limit | Wetsuits are not available for participants weighing 105 kg (approximately 231 lbs) or more. |
| Safety Requirement | If a wetsuit is unavailable due to weight restrictions, a life jacket rental is required (approximately ¥3,000, payable on-site). |
| Cancellation Policy | Full refunds are available for cancellations made 10 or more days prior to the tour date. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 10 days in advance. |
