MCIPAC CREDO provides retreats and workshops that strengthen the religious, moral, and spiritual well-being of Department of the Navy service members, civilians, and families. Programs include personal growth, married couples, and family retreats, as well as suicide intervention training through safeTALK and ASIST workshops, enhancing resilience, confidence and mission readiness.

Marriage Enrichment Retreats

Marriage Enrichment Retreats (MERs) are an earned benefit, provided at no cost to uniformed service members and their spouses through a computer-randomized selection process, not on a first-come, first-served basis. Childcare is not provided. MERs are held at local resort hotels for three days and two nights. During the retreat, couples will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of themselves and their spouses, explore their personalities and perspectives, and enhance their communication and problem-solving skills. The schedule also includes ample free time for couples to relax and enjoy the sunshine and resort amenities.

Family Enrichment Retreats

Family Enrichment Retreats (FERs) are an earned benefit, provided at no cost to uniformed service members and their dependents through a computer-randomized selection process, not on a first-come, first-served basis. FERs are held at local resort hotels for three days and two nights. During the retreat, families will have the opportunity to learn, practice, and explore tools designed to improve healthy communication, recognize each family member’s value and worth, and foster a sense of belonging and togetherness. Some sessions include the entire family, while others are tailored with break-out groups for parents, young children, and teenagers. The schedule also allows plenty of free time for families to relax and enjoy the sunshine and resort amenities.

Personal Resilience Retreats

Personal Resiliency Retreats (PRRs) are an earned benefit, provided at no cost to uniformed service members through a computer-randomized selection process, not on a first-come, first-served basis. PRRs are held at local resort hotels for three days and two nights. During the retreat, individuals will attend sessions designed to help them better understand their personality, enhance teamwork skills, explore their personal core values, and improve communication and problem-solving abilities. The schedule also includes ample free time to enjoy the sunshine and resort amenities.
