Holiday Parades & Tree-Lighting Ceremonies
Tree-Lighting Ceremonies
A truly time-worn tradition, tree-lighting ceremonies are a symbolic kick-off to the holiday season for many.
- December 1 at 5 p.m., Camp Schwab will have their event at Gate 1.
- December 4 at 5 p.m., Camp Courtney will have their ceremony at the Bowling Center parking lot.
- December 5 at 5 p.m., Camp Kinser will hold their tree-lighting ceremony at the Commissary/PX Parking Lot.
- December 12 at 6 p.m., Camp Foster will light their tree in front of Ocean Breeze to kick off the holidays.
Tree-lighting ceremonies on Camps Courtney, Foster and Kinser will feature an extra-special guest—Santa!

Holiday Parades
Speaking of Santa, he will also be making an appearance at holiday parades on Camps Courtney, Lester and Foster!
- December 4, Camp Courtney will have their parade in conjunction with the tree-lighting ceremony.
- December 17 starting at 6 p.m., The Camp Foster family housing areas will be treated to a parade.
- December 18 starting at 6 p.m., Camp Lester’s holiday parade will take place in the housing area.
